Car seats must be used exactly as their manual describes. Confirm current fit limits, vehicle compatibility, installation instructions, and airline policies before use.
Questions parents ask
Which carrier is lighter?
Aria V2 lists a 6 lb carrier weight; PIPA aire rx lists 6.2 lb without canopy or inserts. The difference is small, but it can be noticeable with a growing baby and a full day bag.
Which base has a load leg?
PIPA aire rx includes a base with a steel stability leg. Aria V2 uses UPPAbaby’s SmartSecure base and Anti-Rebound+ panel instead. Neither detail replaces correct installation and the instructions in the manual.
Which works with my stroller?
Both connect most simply to their own brand’s stroller system. Check the current approved adapter list for cross-brand use before choosing a travel system.
